WINCHESTER MODEL 1873 RIFLEAbercrombie & Fitch commissioned deluxe commemorative rifle, gold plate receiver and barrel, engraved with 6 medallions or vignettes carved into steel (1 being A&F 36), signed by Adam Rose (trade name used by engraver Dell Zornado), deluxe wood, octagon barrel, full magazine, straight grip, crescent butt, original front and rear sights, 24 inch barrel, .44-40 cal., about 1973 Abercrombie & Fitch commissioned a famous midwestern gunsmith and engraver to create less than 50 gold plate and silver plate works of art, this rifle mysteriously surfaced in England in the 1980's and was imported back to the United States, a comparable gun sold at Red Baron Antique Auction on 3/4/06 for over $20000, ser. no. 133775, $25000 PAY BY CHECK OR MONEY ORDER CLICK HERE
